Put a card on the outside of a window.....and take it off! That's WINDOMATION!
Imagine this, a card is selected from an ordinary deck and is shuffled back into the deck. The magician spring tosses the cards at a nearby window and as the cards fall to the floor, the selected card is seen stuck to the window, ON THE OUTSIDE! Anyone can touch the glass to see for themselves that the card is truly ON THE OUTSIDE! But, wait there's more! Now your spectator sprays the window with window cleaner and as you wipe with a paper towel, THE CARD DISAPPEARS! IT REALLY IS GONE!
No other card to window works or looks as good as this one extremely easy to set up and after your set up it takes less than 20 seconds to reset to do the effect again. Windomation can also be performed with a jumbo card no other car through window gimmick allows so many possibilities get yours today!
Here are some common questions and answers about WindoMation:
Can I perform WindoMation on a Double Pane or Thermal Pane window?
Yes, you can! WindoMation does not use a "magnetic" principle to hold the card to the window.
The only requirement is that the window does not have a screen.
How long is the set up time?
There are 2 ways to set up the WindoMation gimmick:
The easiest way is if the window has a Venetian blind or curtain at the top, you can simply attach the gimmick to the outside of the window being hidden by the blind. This method takes about 30 seconds. If you do not have a blind, you need to attach the gimmick with an alternate method above or beside the window. This may take a few minutes. The WindoMation kit comes with complete instructions for either set up method.
How long is the reset time?
Once the gimmick is in position, the reset time is a few seconds!
Can the card be removed from the window with the spectator watching?
Yes, if the window you are using opens and you can reach out and grab the card, you can take the card off the window in front of the spectator. I have an example of this method.
Can the WindoMation gimmick be seen if the spectator goes outside?
Yes, the WindoMation gimmick can be seen if the spectator goes outside. It doesn't particularly stand out as odd. In well over a hundred performances I've never had a spectator that wanted to inspect the window from behind.
Can the spectator remove the card?
The spectator could remove the card if you were doing the "open the window" version but the card is sticky and it's slightly gimmicked so I suggest removing the card yourself. I've never had a spectator ask to remove the card themselves; in my mind this is more of a magician thought than a spectator thought.
