Normal LiPo Battery Charging
1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF
2. Make sure the battery is connected properly to the battery plug
3. Plug in the USB cord to the unit and make sure the connection is SECURE. Sometimes the connection may come loose and you will not get a good connection.
4. Plug in the other end of the USB to your computer or USB outlet.
Again, make sure the unit is OFF. At this point the unit will do one of 2 things, it will show a yellow light for a few moments and then go to red, or it will just go straight to red. If you can not see what it does, unplug the USB and plug it back in and watch the lights.
If the unit goes from YELLOW to RED, then the battery is charging properly, please let it sit undisturbed and this charging can take anywhere from a few minutes to an hour or longer. The light will turn GREEN when it is completely charged. If you have the battery on the charger for longer than 4 hours and it never turns to green, then the battery may be too drained to charge the normal way or there may be a problem with the battery. Proceed to the next section and try to revive the battery!
How to Revive a Dead Battery
If the unit goes to RED and stays at RED, then the battery is drained very low and we will now try to bring it back from the "dead"! At this point the unit should still be in the OFF position. Now turn the unit ON with the battery and the USB still plugged in as instructed above. The RED light should remain RED. Set a timer for 30 min. After 30 min unplug the USB and turn the unit OFF. Now plug the USB back in, the light should go to YELLOW and then RED and if it does, let it set undisturbed and this charging can take anywhere from a few minutes to an hour or longer. The light will turn GREEN when it is completely charged. If you have the battery on the charger for longer than 4 hours, or if the battery starts to swell up, then there may be a problem with the battery.
If your unit stays on YELLOW and never goes to RED or GREEN, let me know, there may be a problem with the charger on the unit.
